Software Engineer – AI Automation

About the role

We are looking for a passionate builder to join Dapta, an early‑stage, VC‑backed startup that delivers AI‑driven automation for sales. You will help serve thousands of global users by shaping the core architecture of our voice, text and workflow automation platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team through system architecture, development and deployment.
• Design and implement scalable solutions handling thousands of concurrent users and millions of requests per minute.
• Write, review and maintain high‑quality Node.js code while staying hands‑on.
• Collaborate closely with product and design to create fast, intuitive AI‑driven user experiences.
• Build proof‑of‑concepts, run experiments and iterate based on customer feedback.
• Continuously monitor AI trends, tools and techniques to keep the product cutting‑edge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 2+ years of professional Node.js experience building production‑grade, scalable applications.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or AI‑focused products.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, PostgreSQL databases and distributed systems.
• Passion for clean architecture, performance optimization and scalability.
• Proactive, curious mindset with a habit of testing new AI tools.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams.
