Software Engineer – Node.js & AI Automation

About the role

Dapta is building AI‑driven automation for sales, turning user intent into revenue through voice, text, and workflow automation. We are looking for a hands‑on Software Engineer who loves scaling code, experimenting with AI tools, and shaping core product architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team in designing, developing, and deploying scalable systems for thousands of concurrent users.
• Write, review, and optimise Node.js code, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with product and design to deliver fast, intuitive AI‑powered user experiences.
• Build proof‑of‑concepts, run experiments, and iterate quickly based on customer feedback.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI trends, tools, and techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 2+ years of professional Node.js experience, including scaling production‑grade applications.
• 2+ years in software engineering, preferably in SaaS or AI‑focused products.
• Solid understanding of AWS, PostgreSQL, and distributed system concepts.
• Passionate about clean architecture, scalability, and performance optimisation.
