Sr. Cloud-Native .NET Engineer

About the role

CGI is seeking a senior .NET and Cloud Engineer to design and deliver enterprise‑grade, cloud‑native solutions on Azure for an international transportation management project.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices, Azure Functions, and event‑driven architectures using .NET and Azure services.
• Build and support integrations with internal systems, third‑party SaaS platforms, and external APIs using GraphQL and REST.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy them on Azure hosting services.
• Implement secure coding practices, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and vulnerability remediation.
• Provide production support, incident resolution, and root‑cause analysis in collaboration with operations teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with .NET technologies.
• Deep expertise in designing cloud‑native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience as a senior engineer, technical lead, or solution architect for enterprise applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey architectural concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
