Staff Accountant (Bogotá)

About the role

Auxis is seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join its Bogotá team. You will work in a collaborative, high‑performing environment that emphasizes professional growth and global interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Perform key account and bank reconciliations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow statements.
• Support global operations by validating vendors, administering corporate cards (US & EU), processing urgent payments, and participating in audit reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance.
• Advanced conversational English (C1 preferred) for interaction with global teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and a proactive learning attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

What we offer

• Salary: 4,500,000 COP per month.
• Indefinite‑term contract (permanent).
• Hybrid work model – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote.
• Standard schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Location: Bogotá, Colombia.
• Start date: Mid‑July.
