Staff Accountant

About the role
The Staff Accountant will support daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with company policies. This position plays a key role in month‑end and year‑end close processes and contributes to the integrity of financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform balance sheet and bank account reconciliations.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close activities.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting documentation.
- Prepare financial reports and schedules as required.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel
- Accounting/ERP systems
