Staff Accountant

About the role

The Staff Accountant will support the financial operations of a growing US‑based technology consulting firm. Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, you will ensure accurate reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and help drive process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable transactions with accurate coding and timely payment.
• Support Accounts Receivable activities, monitor outstanding balances, and assist with collections.
• Maintain vendor and customer records to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Perform regular reconciliations of corporate credit cards and other assigned accounts, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preserving the integrity of financial data and adherence to internal controls.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports and key performance metrics.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and account analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Accounting/Finance preferred).
• 2‑5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with CRM tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of inventory management from an accounting perspective.
• Understanding of sales tax requirements and processes.
• Comfortable using online payment and banking platforms.
