Stimulation and Fracturing Engineer – Production Solutions

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a motivated Stimulation and Fracturing Engineer to join its Production Solutions team in Neiva, Colombia. The role involves providing technical assistance and analysis for hydraulic fracturing and acid treatments, both on‑site and from the office.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute frac and acid treatments using subsurface, rock‑mechanics and fluid‑mechanics knowledge.
• Analyze pressure data during pumping and apply diagnostic pumping techniques.
• Perform pre‑job fluid testing, equipment verification and material coordination.
• Generate technical documentation and end‑of‑job packets for Business Development and customers.
• Collaborate with Operations, Business Development and technology teams to ensure efficient job execution and rollout of new technologies.
• Support remote viewing operations and assist in the development of Associate Technical Professionals.

Required profile

• University degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Industrial, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering (STEM).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hydraulic fracturing and/or sand‑control operations.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Strong analytical skills and experience preparing technical reports.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
