Systems Engineer

About the role

The Systems Engineer will administer and support client operating system environments, ensuring high availability and performance. You will work on both Windows and Linux platforms, implement cloud solutions, and collaborate with on‑site resources and third‑party vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1 troubleshooting for network OS issues, hardware performance, and security vulnerabilities.
• Resolve incident requests for assigned clients and participate in a 24x7 on‑call rotation.
• Install and configure new hardware and software, coordinating with on‑site teams when needed.
• Analyze logs, monitor system performance, apply OS updates and configuration changes.
• Maintain system configuration documentation and create/run runbooks.
• Identify automation opportunities and recommend improvements to client environments.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors and application teams for troubleshooting and change requests.
• Develop processes, methodologies, and documentation to enhance support quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in systems administration or related field.
• Experience supporting cloud computing technologies and monitoring system performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English (B2+).
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and participation in a 24x7 on‑call rotation.
