Talent Acquisition Business Partner (Latin America)

About the role

ED&F Man Commodities, a specialist global agricultural commodities merchant owned by Hartree Partners, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner based in Bogota, Colombia. The role reports to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and works closely with the Regional HR Director for Latin America and the HR Manager for Brazil. It is a full-time, hybrid position covering the Latin American business, from junior to mid-level roles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment and search lifecycle for junior to mid-level positions, from approval to verbal offer acceptance.
• Build a deep commercial understanding of the business and hiring manager needs, and partner with leadership on hiring strategies and talent market insights.
• Sourcing via LinkedIn, specialist job boards, social media, headhunting, employee referrals and internal advertising, and write attractive job ads.
• Screen candidates, pitch the business and role, assess them against hiring manager criteria and shortlist for interviews.
• Coordinate hiring manager interviews, coach managers where needed, give constructive feedback and negotiate offers.
• Advise hiring managers and HR colleagues, and build talent pipelines in key skills-shortage areas and support succession planning.
• Engage approved third-party recruitment vendors and contribute to improving recruitment processes, tools and systems.
• Take part in projects such as EDI, systems enhancements and employer branding.

Required profile

• Significant experience (ideally 5+ years) in talent acquisition, in-house and/or search environments.
• Industry exposure in FMCG, financial services and/or commodity trading.
• Strong stakeholder management, including influencing senior hiring managers.
• Excellent communication, organization and time-management skills, with attention to detail and resilience.
• Right to work in the location; potential is valued alongside experience.
