Tax Analyst – Tax Compliance & Exemptions

About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Tax Analyst to join our finance team. In this role you will ensure tax exemption data is accurate, support audit readiness, and help maintain compliance across sales and use tax obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and index tax exemptions in Sovos and Avalara systems to support audit readiness.
- Contact customers to collect and update tax exemption information, maintaining timely and accurate records.
- Reconcile sales tax accounts, identify discrepancies, and keep thorough documentation.
- Analyze use tax data to guarantee correct reporting and regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with tax software such as Sovos or Avalara and tax account reconciliation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
