Team Lead - Project Management

About the role

As a Team Lead – Project Management within the Global Medical Services Team, you will manage a local team of project managers, translating strategic direction into day‑to‑day execution while supporting performance, growth and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage 10–15 Project Managers, providing guidance, performance reviews and development plans.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and integration of new project managers.
• Allocate resources, plan capacity and balance workloads to ensure sustainable delivery.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of all projects, ensuring quality, timeliness and SLA compliance.
• Monitor portfolio health, identify risks and drive timely resolutions.
• Act as first escalation point for delivery issues and remove obstacles.
• Serve as operational interface between the local PM team and internal stakeholders such as Account Managers, Medical leads, HEVA and Commercial teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and global stakeholders to align PM activities with business priorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in a multinational environment, preferably pharma, medical affairs or medical communications.
• At least 2 years of people‑management experience.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Required skills

• PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
