Team Manager Air Freight

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Team Manager to lead our Air Freight (AFR) Export and Import specialists in Bogotá. The role acts as the primary liaison between customers and the DHL network, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, develop and supervise a team of AFR Export and Import Operations Specialists.
• Coordinate with business partners and customers to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries.
• Align team activities with global GSC processes and KPI targets.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce complexity.
• Prepare and monitor periodic performance reports, ensuring KPI achievement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on OPEX and transition initiatives.
• Provide feedback, coaching and performance management for team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in administration, international business, finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant logistics or air freight experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in freight forwarding, preferably within a global forwarding environment.
• Fluent in English (B2‑C1) and Spanish.
