Technical Project Manager – C++ Engine & Game Production

About the role

EPAM is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the coordination between internal engine teams and external vendor partners on C++ engine development for large‑scale game production. Based in LATAM, you will act as the central hub ensuring technical alignment, smooth integration, and timely delivery across distributed studios.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between internal engine groups and external C++ vendor teams.
• Ensure coding standards, integration practices, and technical expectations are consistently applied.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and pipeline stakeholders to define scalable workflows for vendor contributions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of technical processes, dependencies, and risk factors.
• Identify and resolve cross‑team blockers that impact build stability and delivery milestones.
• Provide vendors with required builds, tools, and infrastructure updates in a timely manner.
• Monitor progress of engine development and vendor deliverables against agreed plans.
• Refine validation and integration of vendor code and assets into the main pipeline.
• Contribute to reducing technical debt and enforcing project standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in technical project management or related roles.
• At least 2 years in lead, manager, architect, or coordinator positions.
• Experience leading a team of five or more employees.
• Participation in at least two full‑cycle projects covering multiple development phases.
• Strong understanding of the C++ development lifecycle and build systems.
