Technical Sales Manager – Colombia (Telematics & IoT)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead the promotion and sales of our telematics and IoT measurement solutions across Colombia. The role combines technical expertise with commercial activities, working remotely while travelling for client visits.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the client base and actively promote the company’s products throughout Colombia.
• Conduct presentations, technical installations, and equipment commissioning.
• Identify and attract new system integrators.
• Manage relationships with existing clients, including support, issue resolution, and payment control.
• Promote the Escort brand within the transport telematics market.
• Participate in industry events such as exhibitions, conferences, and seminars.
• Monitor the market, competitors, trends, and new business development opportunities.

Required profile

• Upper‑Intermediate (B2) English proficiency; all communication with the central office is in English.
• Currently residing in Colombia.
• Experience in B2B sales, preferably in telematics, transportation, IT, IoT, GPS monitoring, or automotive industries.
• Experience with technically complex equipment related to vehicles or transportation and ability to perform installations after training.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to conduct technical field visits and installations after training.
• Autonomous, result‑oriented work style.
• Technical college or university degree.
• Availability for business trips across Colombia (up to 40% of working time).
