Web Developer

About the role

Base Coat Marketing is seeking a Web Developer to build, maintain and optimise WordPress sites for its painting and concrete‑coating clients. The role is fully remote and operates on an Eastern Time schedule, offering the chance to work closely with SEO, advertising and media teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, edit and maintain WordPress websites using themes, page builders and custom code.
• Troubleshoot bugs, plugin conflicts, tracking errors and page‑speed issues.
• Collaborate with SEO, Ads, CX and Media teams to support ongoing website needs.
• Set up and onboard new client sites, including Go HighLevel CRM configurations and integrations.
• Manage third‑party integrations such as Zapier, Google Analytics, Tag Manager and other APIs.
• Perform QA, responsive design testing and cross‑browser validation.
• Monitor and improve site performance, uptime and technical SEO health.
• Handle DNS, domain migrations and hosting environments (Cloudflare, WP Engine).

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in WordPress development or a similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
• Page‑builder tools such as Elementor or Avada.
• Technical SEO tools (GA4, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
• Integration platforms (Zapier, APIs, Go HighLevel CRM).
• Hosting and infrastructure knowledge (Cloudflare, WP Engine, DNS, SSL).

What we offer

• Salary starting at $1,500 per month, based on experience.
• Work schedule: Mon‑Thu 8 am‑5 pm EDT, Fri 8 am‑12 pm EDT.
• 10 paid vacation days plus 2 additional days each year, 11 paid U.S. federal holidays, and half‑day Fridays.
• 100 % remote work.
