Weekend Night Dispatch Representative

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a motivated Weekend Night Dispatch Representative to join its fast‑paced Customer Service team. Working overnight from Friday to Monday, you will monitor shipments, communicate with customers and drivers, and ensure smooth transportation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track active shipments throughout weekend overnight hours, maintaining real‑time visibility.
• Communicate shipment status, delivery schedules, and operational issues to customers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Update customer portals, systems, and shipment records with accurate information.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments to meet customer requirements.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve service disruptions, delays, load recoveries, and other exceptions.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely solutions and follow‑up.
• Prepare and distribute overnight reports to the daytime operations team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with carriers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2+ years of sales or account management experience in transportation and logistics (preferred).
• Recent college or university degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in analytical or pricing roles is an asset.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
