Account Manager – Client Strategy & Growth

About the role

South is seeking an experienced Account Manager to act as a strategic partner for multiple clients across Latin America. You will own client relationships, drive marketing strategy, and ensure delivery of high‑quality work while identifying growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Own and nurture relationships with several client stakeholders.
• Provide proactive, strategic recommendations aligned with client business goals.
• Lead all client communications, including emails, calls, presentations, and reporting.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Creative, Performance, Web) to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Identify risks, roadblocks, and upsell opportunities early and communicate them effectively.
• Support onboarding of new clients in partnership with Business Development.
• Ensure adherence to project management, budget, and time‑keeping standards.
• Deliver final client‑facing work and contribute to internal process improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or agency‑based project management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence in direct phone/video interactions.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Highly organized, proactive, and solutions‑oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
