Account Manager – Remote (Colombia)

About the role

The Intern Group is looking for a proactive Account Manager to manage relationships with global company partners and coordinate internship placements for participants worldwide. This remote position is based in Medellin, Colombia, and plays a key part in expanding the company’s internship portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with partner companies across all global destinations.
• Expand the network of partner companies through targeted account‑management initiatives.
• Manage and coordinate the placement process between partners and internship candidates to ensure optimal matches.
• Conduct ongoing quality assurance and provide support to both partners and participants.
• Mentor and guide participants throughout the placement and matching process.
• Resolve ad‑hoc issues or complaints with host organisations and interns before and during the internship.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the global team on cross‑functional projects.
• Deliver against placement and account‑management targets, contributing to year‑over‑year business growth.

Required profile

• Previous B2B sales experience.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Passion for supporting participants in international internship programs.
