Account Payable Representative

About the role

Join SGS's Shared Services Center in Bogotá as an Account Payable Representative, supporting the finance function of the GBS Americas region. You will handle daily accounting activities with a focus on accounts receivable, customer service, and payment processing.

Key responsibilities

• Process credit card payments, troubleshoot online payment issues, and apply payments/credits to customer accounts.
• Coordinate unapplied payments with the AP/AR group at the corporate office and settle outstanding customer and COD accounts.
• Respond to inquiries from SGS businesses and customers regarding payments, collections, or billing issues via phone or email.
• Manage incoming customer communications, process billing, and assist with collections to minimize DSO.
• Ensure confidentiality of customer and company information and contribute to quality system updates.

Required profile

• Technologist or professional degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in call‑center, customer service, finance or accounting roles.
• Strong verbal and written English (B2+/C1) and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
