Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

The Accountant is a core member of the finance team, ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger and the integrity of financial reporting. The role bridges accounting, FP&A and cross‑functional partners to support treasury and investor activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable and accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment setup and collections follow‑up.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Set up customer accounts across payment methods such as credit card (UCollect), ACH autopay (GoCardless) and direct ACH.
• Handle account management and communication for domestic and international wholesale customers.
• Process and reconcile Expensify expense reports, coordinating coding and approvals.
• Manage cleared‑to‑ship workflow and coordinate with fulfillment and sales on pre‑payments and shipping status.
• Respond to customer and vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments and account status.
• Coordinate with banks to open new accounts, manage relationships and oversee cash reporting.
• Compile investor reporting packages, including financial statements, KPIs, AR/AP aging and inventory schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with month‑end responsibilities.
• Experience with Xero (preferred) and Expensify (a plus).
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliations) and strong documentation discipline.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ownership mindset and structured communication.
• C1 level English proficiency.
