Accountant – Growth Financing Marketplace

About the role

We are seeking five accountants to join our fast‑growing financing marketplace that connects small‑business owners with growth capital. This position is ideal for professionals with solid accounting expertise who can adapt to evolving technology in financial operations and work closely with the Accounting Service Manager and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general‑ledger entries.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP.
• Perform regular bank, credit‑card, and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Support tax compliance, audits, and tax filings as needed.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain seamless accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of accounting experience; experience at firms such as Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG is valued.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and strong Excel skills.
• Understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving accounting technologies.
• High attention to detail and advanced English proficiency (Spanish optional).
