Accountant – Growth Financing Marketplace

About the role

We are seeking five motivated Accountants to join our fast‑growing financing marketplace. You will work closely with the Accounting Service Manager and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial records and support small‑business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general‑ledger entries.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports in line with US GAAP.
• Perform regular bank, credit‑card, and ledger reconciliations.
• Support tax compliance, audits, and tax filings as needed.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain seamless accounting operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably from a Big‑Four environment.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Advanced English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of US GAAP standards.
