Accountant – Growth Financing Marketplace

About the role

We are seeking five motivated Accountants to join our fast‑growing financing marketplace for small businesses. You will work closely with the Accounting Service Manager and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial records and compliance, supporting entrepreneurs in scaling their ventures.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports in line with US GAAP.
• Perform regular bank, credit‑card, and ledger reconciliations.
• Support tax compliance, audits, and filing requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain seamless accounting workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably from a Big‑Four environment.
• Advanced English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Understanding of US GAAP reporting standards.
