Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper to support a multi‑location medical aesthetics and wellness business. The position is fully remote, serving Latin America, with required overlap with U.S. Mountain Standard Time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly and semi‑monthly close processes for several business locations.
• Coordinate payroll using Gusto and When I Work, reconciling data in QuickBooks Online.
• Categorize and reconcile expenses through Bill.com and QuickBooks Online.
• Process sales tax and Colorado tax requirements.
• Maintain accrual‑based records, including depreciation, prepaid items, rent, and other adjustments.
• Collaborate with leadership and a fractional CFO on accounting operations and reporting.
• Provide timely communication via Slack during overlapping U.S. business hours.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in accrual‑based accounting or bookkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience with multi‑location businesses is a plus.
