Accounting Manager

About the role

Avanto is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead its accounting team and ensure smooth daily operations. You will own the accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of financial processes, leveraging NetSuite, AI, and automation while maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full financial close process, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and global regulations.
• Oversee general ledger, revenue, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and expense functions.
• Lead audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Own NetSuite configuration, reporting, integrations, and dashboard creation.
• Drive automation initiatives using AI to accelerate close cycles and forecasting.
• Produce timely consolidated financial reports and provide margin and profitability analysis.
• Partner with leadership to support forecasting and strategic decision‑making.
• Develop and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative finance partnership across functions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi‑entity consolidation.
• Demonstrated success in process improvement and automation.
• Experience in growth‑stage or private‑equity‑backed environments.
