Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax reporting and accounting operations for a multinational organization. This position ensures the integrity of financial data, strengthens internal controls and provides insights that support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and reports in line with COL GAAP and corporate standards.
• Oversee month‑end close, reconciliations, payroll accounting, intercompany transactions and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage tax compliance, including provisions, filings and interactions with tax authorities.
• Lead internal and external audits, coordinating stakeholders and delivering required documentation.
• Supervise fixed assets, inventory, cost accounting and related controls.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and enhance internal controls.
• Partner with regional and global teams in a Shared Services environment to ensure policy alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Colombian CPA with a valid professional license.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance and audit management, preferably in multinational firms.
• Experience in Shared Services Centers and collaboration with regional/global stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of COL GAAP, tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Advanced English proficiency.
