Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager supports the CFO in overseeing all accounting functions for Auxis, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the general ledger with proper reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and file local government reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and approve AP vouchers.
• Assist with financial and tax audits, including Procomer and local government audits.
• Prepare tax returns, corporate reporting, and the annual tax package for Procomer and local income tax.
• Maintain internal controls, oversee cash applications, and supervise fixed‑asset inventory.
• Prepare budgets, consolidate them, and provide financial analysis for executive leadership.
• Ensure month‑end close, variance analysis, and create financial models and forecasts.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written, B2+).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tight month‑end deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of Great Plains accounting software (a plus).
• Strong command of MS Office tools.
