Accounts Payable Analyst - Cuentas por Pagar

About the role

The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations across multiple entities and regions. Working within a global finance team, the role supports standardized, compliant purchase‑to‑pay processes while delivering high‑level service to internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Process high‑volume supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and in line with company policy and internal controls.
• Perform 2‑way and 3‑way matching against purchase orders and goods receipts where applicable.
• Ensure invoices are correctly coded, approved, and posted to the appropriate legal entity and finance ledger codes.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner through collaboration with procurement, budget holders, and suppliers.
• Provide best‑in‑class customer service via Zendesk Accounts Payable mailboxes.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on missing items.
• Support preparation and processing of payment runs according to schedules and approval controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and segregation of duties.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardisation of AP processes.
• Contribute to documentation and maintenance of standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar field, preferably in a shared‑service or multi‑entity finance environment.
• Business‑level proficiency in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high transaction volumes under strict deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and a customer‑focused service mindset.
