Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the accounting team of a global technology company. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, processing customer payments, and supporting month‑end close activities in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record cash receipts in NetSuite and reconcile them to bank statements.
• Apply payments to invoices and credit memos, resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on aged balances, and generate customer statements.
• Manage the A/R email inbox, responding to inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with accounting, IT, sales, and order entry teams to resolve billing issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements for A/R efficiency.
• Assist with ad‑hoc reporting and special projects as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and pivot tables.
