Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join Pharmbills’ remote team in Barranquilla. You will support leading U.S. healthcare providers by managing invoices, tracking payments and ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review healthcare service invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Track payments, follow up on overdue amounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain organized financial records, including client communications and payment histories.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based teams and healthcare providers to improve billing processes.
• Generate internal and client‑facing financial reports.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken.
• Experience in billing, accounts receivable or related finance functions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel.
• Billing or accounting software.
