Agentic Software Engineer III (Remote - Colombia/Argentina)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, highly autonomous Agentic Software Engineer III to lead complex technical initiatives and shape AI-assisted software development workflows. This full-time remote position supports teams in Colombia and Argentina, focusing on platform modernization, architecture, and internal tooling automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable full-stack applications and services.
• Lead development of complex features and APIs, building distributed systems.
• Utilize AI coding agents to improve software quality and engineering productivity.
• Develop and enhance internal automation workflows and AI-powered development best practices.
• Contribute to cloud-native architecture, reviewing scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product, design, and leadership teams.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong ownership mentality, technical leadership, and execution orientation.
• Product-mindset with a focus on building scalable systems.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 preferred).

Required skills

• TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, C#/.NET.
• Frontend frameworks: React, Next.js, Vue, Angular.
• Design and implementation of scalable APIs and microservices.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native systems.
• AI coding tools in production workflows.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems.
• Familiarity with LangChain, RAG, MCP, GraphRAG, or AI infrastructure.
