AI Architect – Agentic Systems

About the role

Blanc Labs is seeking a visionary AI Architect to design and deliver production‑grade agentic AI systems on Azure. You will own the end‑to‑end architecture of scalable platforms that power enterprise clients across the Americas, turning cutting‑edge AI research into reliable, business‑critical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate enterprise‑ready agentic AI platforms using Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI Service.
• Develop end‑to‑end pipelines that incorporate vector search, tool‑calling patterns, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
• Define REST API standards, JSON schema definitions, and event‑driven integration patterns for AI workloads.
• Guide solutions from MVP to production, ensuring performance, reliability, observability, and security requirements are met.
• Deploy and manage scalable Azure infrastructure (AKS, App Service, Functions) in collaboration with DevOps/SRE teams.
• Evaluate emerging agent frameworks (MCP, A2A) and integrate them to keep the platform modern.
• Implement tracing and quality assurance using LangSmith or equivalent tools.
• Document architectures and facilitate collaborative design sessions with distributed teams.
• Support incident management, post‑mortems, and continuous improvement in live environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering at least one end‑to‑end production AI or agentic system on Azure.
• Deep knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, vector search, and tool‑calling architectures.
• Hands‑on expertise with LangChain or Semantic Kernel for orchestration and LangSmith for tracing.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components such as AKS, App Service, and Functions.
