APIs & Integrations Engineer (SAP BTP & PI/PO)

About the role

Amrize is seeking an APIs & Integrations Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite (BTP) and SAP PI/PO. The role focuses on connecting internal and external applications, reducing manual effort, and ensuring reliable data flow across hybrid and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs and integration flows with SAP BTP Integration Suite and SAP PI/PO.
• Create reusable components, implement error handling, and apply middleware patterns such as routing, transformation, and enrichment.
• Enforce security protocols and API governance to protect sensitive data and meet compliance standards.
• Deploy integrations across hybrid and cloud landscapes, supporting both legacy and modern systems.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and align technical solutions with operational goals.
• Monitor integration performance using observability tools, proactively resolving issues to maintain high availability.
• Optimize integration flows for performance and cost efficiency.
• Document APIs and integration designs using RAML/OpenAPI and UML standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing SOAP and REST interfaces with SAP CPI/Integration Suite.
• Proven expertise in integration architecture and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
