About the role

The Information Solutions Support Advisor will work within Roche’s IT services team to ensure customers receive effective technical assistance. The role involves evaluating client needs, maintaining equipment, and delivering software installations while supporting a culture of agility.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Provide timely and efficient support to assigned customers.
• Monitor and manage stock of hardware equipment.
• Schedule and verify preventive maintenance for both hardware and software at client sites.
• Plan, execute, and oversee software installations as directed by management.
• Adhere to weekend on‑call schedules as required.
• Promote an agile mindset and introduce new working methods in a VUCA environment.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and Symphony guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the team leader.

Required profile

• Degree or technologist qualification in Systems Engineering or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in software, hardware, and end‑user support.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and basic to intermediate SQL Server.
