About the role

Cargill is seeking a Distribution Assistant to manage inbound and outbound shipments in a warehouse environment. The role ensures accurate handling of goods, documentation, and supports continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and complete shipping and receiving documentation, entering data into computerized systems.
• Stabilize trucks with chocks and oversee loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with reporting or reconciliation as needed.
• Collaborate with peers and management to identify and implement process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies, equipment lock‑in/outs, and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Ability to work under occasional guidance while following established warehouse procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping.
• Willingness to engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
