Associate - Litigation

About the role

Kennedys is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its insurance litigation team in Bogotá. You will work on complex insurance and reinsurance disputes for local and international clients, handling the full lifecycle of cases in a collaborative, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and appeals.
• Conduct discovery, prepare evidence, and represent clients in arbitration and court hearings.
• Negotiate claim settlements and support policy drafting.
• Provide regulatory and corporate advice related to insurance law.
• Maintain client relationships and attend business‑development events.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in insurance litigation.
• Proven experience handling large, cross‑border cases.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
