Audit Staff – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an Audit Staff member to join our audit team and support services for governmental and not‑for‑profit clients, including retirement systems and employee benefit plans. This is a full‑time, 100% remote position with a regular Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Become familiar with firm policies, AICPA, FASB, GASB and GAO standards.
• Perform assigned audit procedures for specific accounts and transactions under supervision.
• Conduct control and substantive tests on financial and operational transactions.
• Collect, analyze, and document audit evidence.
• Assist in reviewing and preparing financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Draft correspondence to related parties, attorneys, banks, debtors and grantors.
• Maintain effective communication with external clients during audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science or Arts in Accounting.
• Florida CPA license is a plus.
• Previous experience in public‑accounting audit or fund accounting is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
