Backend JVM Engineer (Level 3)

About the role

Addi is looking for a Backend JVM Engineer (Level 3) to join its Lending team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable services that enable seamless purchase and payment experiences for millions of users across Colombia.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of features from design through production release.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and other engineers to deliver high‑quality user experiences.
• Architect resilient, scalable components using Addi’s established architectural patterns.
• Develop new functionality on the JVM stack and ensure code quality through unit, component, integration, and automation tests.
• Review pull requests and contribute to continuous improvement of the codebase.

Required profile

• Strong experience building backend services in a fast‑moving fintech environment.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, business, and engineering teams.
• Commitment to delivering reliable, high‑performance software.
