About the role
We are looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our remote team in Colombia. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust backend services that power our applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using TypeScript and NestJS.
- Create and consume secure, high‑performance REST APIs.
- Implement microservices‑based solutions.
- Develop business logic and data transformation processes.
- Design, manage, and optimize MongoDB databases.
- Integrate and deploy applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in incident resolution, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
