BIC Accountant (Level I) – Finance Team

About the role

Join Atlas Copco's dynamic finance team in Bogota as a BIC Accountant (Level I). You will support core accounting functions while collaborating across the organization to ensure accurate financial data and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and bank reconciliations.
• Record financial transactions in line with local regulations and Atlas Copco internal policies.
• Prepare accounting reports, cash‑flow analysis, budgeting schedules, and consolidation reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support cost accounting, variance analysis, and budgeting strategies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely credit and collections.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to identify process‑improvement opportunities and reinforce financial controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in banking, treasury, intercompany processes, preferably in a shared‑services or multi‑country environment.
• Experience with monthly and annual financial closings, reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of bank operations, intercompany and GL account reconciliations.
• Advanced English (B2+/C1) – written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP FI (Banking and Intercompany) or similar ERP systems.
