Bilingual Accounting Supervisor

About the role

The Accounting Lead will oversee high‑quality accounting and financial reporting services for a portfolio of international clients. This bilingual position combines deep technical accounting knowledge with team leadership, ensuring accurate month‑end close, balance‑sheet health, and stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team that performs monthly analysis of trial balance, balance sheet, and P&L, delivering accurate insights and explanations.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for General Ledger (GL), Record‑to‑Report (R2R), and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet and P&L reconciliations, identify risks, and resolve open items.
• Manage journal entry processing, accrual calculations, and allocations to support timely period‑end close.
• Review work of team members, ensure compliance with month‑end controls, and support audit deliverables.
• Coach and motivate staff to meet service level agreements and performance targets.
• Collaborate with other TMF teams to resolve queries, drive automation, and standardize processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting within a multi‑country, multi‑entity environment.
• Previous exposure to BPO/SSC or centralized delivery models is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess balance‑sheet health and surface risks.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
