BIM Modeler – MEP/Plumbing (US Projects) – Remote (Colombia)

About the role

We are looking for a BIM Modeler specialized in MEP plumbing and hydrosanitary systems to support a US‑based construction client. The position is fully remote, based in Colombia, and follows the New York (EST) schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and construction‑ready shop drawings using Revit MEP.
• Design, model, and coordinate domestic water, waste, vent, and stormwater systems for commercial and residential projects.
• Apply IPC and UPC codes to ensure compliant, constructible designs.
• Perform clash detection and spatial coordination with mechanical, electrical, structural, and fire protection disciplines using Navisworks.
• Review plans proactively, resolve design conflicts, and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to eliminate modeling errors and maintain organized documentation.

Required profile

• Advanced technical and conversational English (B2+/C1).
• 3+ years of experience in plumbing, hydrosanitary design, or MEP modeling.
• Degree in Sanitary, Hydraulic, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
• Residing in Colombia and eligible to work remotely from there.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Revit MEP (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• Solid understanding of US building codes (IPC, UPC) and construction documentation practices.
• Hands‑on skills in plumbing design, hydrosanitary systems, BIM modeling, and MEP coordination.
