Biology & Python Expert – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Biology and Python expert to join our freelance AI training platform. You will design and validate computational biology problems that are used to test and improve AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational biology problem statements that reflect real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based challenges using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, BioPython and Pandas.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and require non‑trivial reasoning in bioinformatics, systems biology or molecular modelling.
• Base tasks on genuine research questions or practical applications from biology.
• Validate solutions by implementing reference code and documenting correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Biology, Bioinformatics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in biological data analysis, research or teaching.
• Strong written English (C1 level or higher).

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, BioPython.
• MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata (any equivalent programming language).

What we offer

• Project‑based work with an estimated 10–20 hours per week during active phases.
• Hourly rate up to $17 USD, depending on expertise and contribution speed.
