Bookkeeper – E‑commerce & B2B Portfolio

About the role

BrandBuilding.com is seeking a dependable Bookkeeper to maintain accurate, organized, and up‑to‑date financial records for a portfolio of e‑commerce and B2B service businesses. The primary focus is on recurring bookkeeping, month‑end close activities, and preparing the books for quarterly and year‑end reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recurring bookkeeping and monthly close activities across multiple entities
• Categorize and reconcile bank and credit‑card transactions
• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Maintain the general ledger, record journal entries, and support customer invoicing
• Track contractor, vendor expenses and calculate commissions
• Maintain fixed‑asset records, depreciation schedules, and inventory valuation
• Reconcile revenue across sales channels and support multi‑channel COGS mapping
• Track partner or shareholder capital contributions, loan interest accruals, and intercompany billing
• Organize receipts, invoices, statements and flag discrepancies for review
• Prepare documentation for quarterly reviews, year‑end close, and tax preparation

Required profile

• Previous professional bookkeeping experience
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented
• Comfortable managing financial records across multiple businesses
• Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast‑moving entrepreneurial environment
