Bookkeeper – US GAAP

About the role

Globalfy is seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to manage the financial records of its US‑based clients. You will ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported in compliance with US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger for multiple client accounts.
• Reconcile bank and credit‑card statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Enter costs, expenses, and cost of goods sold with proper coding and classification.
• Prepare regular income statements and balance sheets.
• Provide accounting support to internal stakeholders and answer related queries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and tax standards.
• Stay current with accounting and tax standards through professional development.
• Collaborate with team members to improve bookkeeping processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with US bookkeeping and US GAAP.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously is a plus.
