Business Development Analyst – Coffee Sourcing (Colombia)

About the role

Attesa Coffee, a start‑up specialty green coffee sourcing and distribution company, is seeking a performance‑driven individual with a strong passion for coffee to join the team as a Business Development Analyst. Based in Colombia, the analyst will support the development of a sourcing network across South and Central America.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with coffee providers to collect coffee information, pricing, farm details and photographs.
• Conduct market research on specialty coffee producers, origins and coffee‑related events.
• Develop and nurture relationships with green coffee providers in South/Central America.
• Liaise with management and the sales team to gather coffee requirements and specific information requests.
• Prepare offer lists and other commercial documents related to the coffee sourcing process.
• Translate and prepare marketing materials for external communications with partners.
• Assist the logistics team with transport and freight communications to ensure timely shipments.
• Travel to coffee origins and farms in South and Central America to build the sourcing network.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Canva.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solver and team player.
• Own laptop/computer with a reliable fast internet connection.
• Based in Colombia; preferred work hours 7 am – 3:30 pm Colombia time.
