Business Development Representative, LATAM

About the role

The Business Development Representative will work remotely from Colombia, preferably Bogotá, to generate and qualify leads for Absolute’s cybersecurity solutions across LATAM. You will collaborate closely with Marketing and Account Executives to build a pipeline, secure meetings with key personas, and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads, focusing on prospects interested in cybersecurity solutions.
• Research and prioritize accounts, understanding their IT environment, challenges, and needs.
• Engage prospects via phone, email and LinkedIn to communicate Absolute’s value proposition.
• Schedule qualified meetings for Sales through cold‑calling and strategic outreach.
• Build and maintain strategic account lists within the defined segment.
• Partner with internal Field Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment.
• Participate in virtual or in‑person events as required.
• Log activity and lead conversion data in Salesforce for transparency.

Required profile

• Native Spanish speaker with professional English proficiency.
• Resilient, fearless in objection handling and comfortable with challenges.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, prospects and teammates.
• Ambitious, eager to learn and contribute to business success.
• 1‑3 years of sales experience with a proven record of opening qualified opportunities.
• Experience in B2B lead generation, preferably in cybersecurity (a plus).
