Business Development Support Manager

About the role

The Business Development Support Manager plays a key role in enabling the Mastercard Services BD organization by managing end-to-end sales lifecycle processes. Acting as a strategic and operational partner to Business Development teams, the role ensures deal structuring, CRM hygiene, pricing, contracting and post-sales processes are accurate, efficient and compliant. It sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance and Operations and drives operational excellence and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support BD teams across the full deal lifecycle, from opportunity creation to closure and post-sales, and coordinate across Sales, Finance, Legal and Delivery
• Help structure deals and business cases, pricing models and commercial constructs in line with policies and margins
• Own accurate opportunity records in Salesforce, supporting pipeline reporting, forecasting and performance tracking
• Facilitate pricing, prepare pricing approvals and document pricing assumptions and approvals
• Coordinate contract creation, liaise with Legal and track contract status against approved terms
• Enable the handover to delivery and billing, ensure accurate deal setup in billing and revenue systems, and support invoicing and revenue recognition issues
• Improve and standardize processes, automate deal support and create documentation, playbooks and training materials for BD teams

Required profile

• 6-10 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations or Commercial Support
• Strong understanding of sales lifecycle processes in a B2B environment
• Strong commercial acumen, deal structuring capability and attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
