Business Intelligence Consultant (Logistics & Freight Forwarding)

About the role

Trillium is seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant to design and build reporting and dashboard solutions for a leading logistics technology environment. The role is remote, part‑time and focuses on turning operational data into actionable insights that support both day‑to‑day and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain BI reports and interactive dashboards.
• Gather and translate reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Define and implement KPIs and metrics that drive business performance.
• Integrate reporting solutions with enterprise platforms such as ERP, TMS or WMS.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and quality across all deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to deliver high‑quality analytics.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Consultant, BI Analyst or Reporting Analyst.
• Hands‑on experience in logistics, transportation, supply‑chain or freight‑forwarding operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Power BI or Tableau for dashboard creation.
• Advanced SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
