Business Unit Manager – Cardiology

About the role

The pharmaceutical company is looking for a Business Unit Manager to lead its Cardiology portfolio in Bogotá. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the commercial and marketing strategy for cardiovascular products, driving growth, market positioning and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the overall business strategy for the Cardiology unit.
• Lead, coach and develop commercial and marketing teams.
• Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and identify growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, medical societies and healthcare stakeholders.
• Achieve sales targets, increase market share and meet profitability objectives.
• Coordinate product launch activities and positioning plans.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with medical, regulatory and market access teams.

Required profile

• Professional degree in health sciences, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in management positions.
• Proven experience leading cardiology business lines or similar business units.
• Strong knowledge of the cardiovascular market and established relationships with specialists.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage budgets.
• Advanced level of English.
